Diamond B Technology Solutions, LLC
Diamond B Technology Solutions, LLC (DBTS) is the technology arm of Diamond B Companies Inc., a multi-dimensional company with business ventures throughout the United States and Canada. A leader in technology and logistic solutions, they are uniquely qualified to partner in the development, implementation, and support of operational solutions. In late 2017, DBTS retained exclusive worldwide rights from the U.S. Army Research Laboratory (ARL) in White Sands, NM to develop the LRx® application. Originally named L-REAC™ (Local-Rapid Evaluation of Atmospheric Conditions), this license includes an on-going collaborative work relationship with ARL.
U.S. Army Research Lab (White Sands, New Mexico)
The Army Research Laboratory’s mission is to provide America’s soldiers the technology edge through scientific research, technology development, and analysis. The Laboratory is headquartered at Adelphi, MD with two elements located at White Sands Missile Range, NM. The U.S. Army Research Laboratory’s (ARL) mission is to provide the premier source of survivability, lethality, and vulnerability expertise. Moreover, ARL provides experimentation, testing, and analysis throughout a system’s life cycle to include the development of the techniques required to better understand, quantify, and enhance its survivability and lethality. ARL performs research that solves complex Army-scale atmospheric problems that result in joint weather intelligence. The Laboratory is headquartered at Adelphi, MD with two elements located at White Sands Missile Range, NM.
"The U.S. Army Research Laboratory (ARL) has been studying urban environments in response to the increased urban warfare scenarios facing U.S. Armed Forces. Within the first decade of 2000, three progressively more complex urban atmospheric field studies were conducted at White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), NM. These studies examined airflow and stability around urban buildings. Concurrent with the final study, emergency first response drills were executed. Based on ARL collaboration with the local emergency response professionals, the need for first responders to have real-time atmospheric data at their finger-tips was witnessed. ARL responded to the civilian/military emergency responder need by designing the Local-Rapid Evaluation of Atmospheric conditions (L-REAC™) System."

Enhanced Situational Awareness to Those Who Protect and Serve
After years of research and development, the U.S. Army Research Laboratory (ARL) sought a private business partner to commercialize their innovative system. Diamond B Technology Solutions, LLC (DBTS) was, and continues to be, that partner. Upon acquiring the exclusive, worldwide license in late 2017, DBTS rebranded the previously known L-REAC™ system to "LR-x®". The rebrand was in part to honor of the meteorologists, scientists, and technicians at ARL who put years of time, research, and testing into producing the most beneficial HazMat and plume modeling situational tool on the market today. Since acquiring the license, DBTS has focused on upgrades, enhancements, and expansion beyond the original design concept to include robust and user-friendly capabilities and functionalities.
