Every day incidents varying in degree of urgency take place across the country. Until recently, situational awareness has taken place after arriving to the incident, inadvertently putting responders at risk of exposure while en route to the scene.
Focused on the safety of Hazmat Teams and Fire Fighters, LR-x® maps toxic plumes and implements the latest version of the U.S. Army Research Laboratory’s proprietary 3D Wind Field Model allowing viewability of topographical maps encompassing 80% of the world (with exception of extreme North and South poles). With LR-x®, plans can now be made before boots even hit the ground. In addition to a current conditions model which is available in a matter of minutes, three forecast models are provided to assist in both incident command location and evacuation plans.
